Retraction Policy

Holistic Nursing Journal (HNJ)

The Holistic Nursing Journal (HNJ) is committed to maintaining the integrity, transparency, and reliability of the scholarly record.

The journal may retract a published article if there is clear evidence of:

Plagiarism

Data fabrication or falsification

Duplicate publication

Unethical research practices

Serious errors that invalidate the findings or conclusions

Manipulation of the peer review or publication process

Retraction Process

Retraction decisions are made by the editorial office following a thorough investigation and evaluation of the available evidence.

Authors may be contacted during the investigation process and given the opportunity to respond to concerns raised regarding the publication.

The journal follows the recommendations and best practices of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) in handling retractions and publication misconduct.

Retraction Notices:

When an article is retracted:

A formal retraction notice will be published.

The reason for retraction will be clearly stated.

The original article may remain accessible for the scholarly record but will be clearly marked as “Retracted.”

Minor errors that do not affect the integrity or conclusions of the article may be corrected through:
